Tribute to the Indicator Species 1

This new collage honors the toad and highlights its vital role in ecosystems. My work with the endangered Dixie Valley Toad sparked a deeper understanding of these creatures. Toads are crucial indicators of environmental health, controlling insects and feeding other animals. Sadly, their populations are declining due to habitat loss, climate change, and pollution. Protecting toads is essential for maintaining ecological balance and biodiversity.
