Touch 2023

Touch is one of my love languages, and through consent, communication, and care, it has become a meaningful way I connect with the people I love. While I didn’t grow up with much nurturing touch—and carried that absence into unhealthy patterns in my twenties—I’ve since unlearned those experiences and reclaimed touch as something abundant and healing. Through my art, I celebrate touch as essential to our well-being and challenge the shame and scarcity our culture has placed around it. I imagine a world where touch is rooted in consent, freely expressed, and accessible in ways that nurture connection, joy, and collective liberation.
