Time to Rise 7
We have one home: Earth. In this era of climate crisis, artists must confront an environmental reality that disproportionately harms Black, Indigenous, and people of color. Rooted in colonization and white supremacy, this crisis stems from stolen land, labor, and ongoing systems of extraction and exploitation. These forces persist today. Climate justice requires Indigenous sovereignty, reparations, Land Back, and racial justice. As someone raised in a polluted neighborhood, I am committed to defending life on Earth.
