Symphony of Shapes 8
These collages on wood were made from hand-carved shapes and textures that I assembled into bold, layered compositions. Each season, I create a new collection of colors and surfaces inspired by the Bay Area's redwood forests, coastal ecosystems, and root-like forms. Pieces from past projects, shapes I can't bring myself to throw away, find new purpose here, woven in alongside fresh material. By giving these remnants a second life, each collage becomes a blend of old and new, resulting in vibrant, playful works rich with nature-inspired textures and my signature motifs.
