Pregnant Circle

This monotype is a portrait of me when I had an unwanted pregnancy that I terminated in 2001.

This piece is part of a suite of monotypes developed at SAE Editions in Palo Alto. Throughout 2013, I was growing more comfortable with my unique approach to monotypes, experimenting with varied approaches to ink layering, brayer sizes, stencils, and found materials.
