I completed this piece during my Artist in Residence at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley , CA. The idea for this print began during an artist residency in Provincetown, Massachusetts, where I spent a lot of time cutting films for pieces such as this one. The story behind this piece is of a woman who is saying farewell to a lover of hers, embracing the possiblity of a new future.
