Altar, Dia De Los Muertos Celebration

This piece was a collaboration between Xochitl Nevel Guerrero, Roberto Guerrero, Estria Miyashiro and myself. The altar was put up on International Blvd. as part of the annual Fruitvale Dia De Los Muertos Celebration. The piece honors Latino musicians, including Selena, Tito Puente, Pedro Infante, and Hector Lavoe, the greatest Puerto Rican Salsero of our time. The backdrop was spray painted by Estria with support from Visual Element.
